Obituary of Nicholas Klimiuk

Nicholas Klimiuk of liberty passed away on June 28, 2023 at Garnet health medical center. He was 65.

 He was the son of the late Nicholas and Nina Klimiuk, born in Poland on September 8, 1958.

When Nicholas was in Poland, he was Priest he loved church and everything it had to offer, he sang at church and at home church songs. He always knew how to make his wife and family feel better, no matter what the problem was. He loved animals' especially his German Shepards. He had an open-door policy, anyone in need was always welcome, he would give people rides if needed, food, tea or just someone to talk to. He had a special bond with his mother until her passing last year. He always spoke about how great Poland and America were. On his free time, he could be found gardening with his wife, or supporting his children. He was truly an amazing caring man that will be deeply missed by all his family and friends.

He leaves behind his devoted wife Irina Klimiuk, his children Anna and Karina Klimiuk, Mantas (Jinyi) Andriunas and Vytas Varnas, his grandchildren Joon, Henry, and Luke, his brother Peter Klimiuk and sister Ana Klimiuk, his trusted canine companion Alpha, Mylos, Athena, Buddy, Bobki and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 2-3:00pm. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 2:30pm. Interment will follow at Woodbourne Cemetery.
