Obituary of Deborah Doris Clements Lyden

Home: Liberty, New York USA Place of Birth: Middletown, New York USA Deborah was taken to our Lord on January 12, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center after a long illness. She was born August 3, 1953 in Liberty, NY to Doris M. Weber and Charles N. Clements. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Paul J. Lyden, mother-in-law Helen Cerklewski Lyden, two Aunts Ruth Clements and Florence Weber Marshall and uncles D. Howard Clements and Ralph Marshall. Deborah is survived by a brother John S. Clements and his wife Joanne of Liberty, two sons Brendon Lyden of Texas and Gregory Lyden and his wife Danielle of North Carolina, father-in-law Paul Lyden of Florida, two sister-in-law's Linda Nicoll and Gail Nesmith (James) both of Florida, five grandchildren Dylon and Regan Lyden of Long Island, Gabriella and Aubrey Lyden of Texas, Alexandria Lyden of North Carolina, three cousins Doris Marshall Banner (James) of Florida, Mary Jo Marshall Dick of Virginia, Susan Clements Remmel (Bruce) of Pennsylvania, five nieces and nephews, Timothy, Jason and Brenda Nicoll and James Nesmith Jr. all of Florida, Alisia Clements Wolcott of Liberty, three great nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends. Debbie graduated Liberty Central School in 1971 and SCCC in 1973. She worked for Sullivan County for over 30 years. First in the office of the Aging and then the Department of Family Services where she retired as a Director in 2008.Debbie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Liberty, Manor Hose Auxillary in Livingston Manor, was a former By Scout Leader and swim instructor. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren and traveling. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of ORMC and heartfelt thanks to the dedicated and loving friends who helped Debbie throughout her illness and transition from this life to life everlasting. Memorial contributions in Deborah's name can be made to Liberty Presbyterian Church, 81 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. There will be memorial visitation on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 South Main Street Liberty, NY from 7-9:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Liberty Presbyterian Church, 81 South Main Street Liberty, NY 12754 at 7:00pm. Ms. Roberta Rehwaldt will officiate.
